At June 6, 2023, WOA UNIVERSAL and Leadjoy announced the signing of a strategic partnership contract to expand the presence of “Wolfoo” products in the Chinese market.
Leadjoy, a Shanghai-based cultural media company that provides educational and entertainment content. Leadjoy is also a brand licensing agency with more than 8 years of experience in the Chinese market.
Since 2022, Leadjoy has cooperated with WOA network – the owner of the Wolfoo character to distribute Wolfoo movies on OTT, VOD, IPTV platforms in the Chinese market.
Woa Universal – the authorized unit to exploit the Wolfoo character – continues to cooperate with Leadjoy, to expand licensing to different fields and industries. In 2023, the book publishing industry will be prioritized for deployment.
The first Chinese version of the Wolfoo book will be distributed to Chinese retail channels in November.
Besides Wolfoo books, the two parties also discussed plan to develop this iconic character on different products and consumer platforms, for example fashion, toys, stationery, and gifts in the 2024 plan.
